Main uses and functional characteristics of machine tools
This machine tool is specifically designed for machining pipes. It is primarily used to machine internal and external pipe threads. It can also be used as a general-purpose lathe to machine the outer diameter, inner diameter, and end faces of shafts and discs. The lathe is equipped with a taper mechanism, allowing it to machine tapered parts.
The machine tool features an integrated flat bed, facilitating operation and adjustment, chip removal, and workpiece loading and unloading. The longitudinal and transverse guideways are medium-frequency hardened, improving machine tool response speed and extending service life. The spindle drive system transmits power from the main motor to the spindle via belts and multi-stage gear transmission in the headstock. An electric composite chuck is installed on each side of the spindle; the two chucks clamp sequentially to ensure clamping accuracy when machining long pipes.
